The Proudly South African Gursel Trio

The Gursel family is originally from the USA and have been 

living in SA for the last couple of years.

They love traveling and they are actually moving to Kenya 

in December for their new adventure. 

As you will see form the photos they love South Africa and it is exactly that 

that inspired their "proudly South African" shoot.

Their son Jack is super cute and you will see 

from the photos why I say so!

Zietsies - guest house and dining room of Elzabe Zietsman

For those of you living in Joburg and have not yet been to Zietsies you are missing out!

Zietsies is the brain child of Elzabe Zietsman, singer, actress and chef. 

There is the guest house that consists of three stunning bedrooms named Kooi, Kooier and Kooiste (so cute!) and

then there's the dining room with an amazing view of the city and delicious food.

And boy, can she sing! Thank you Elzabe for a wonderful evening!

Beautiful buildings, places and interesting faces

As promised, here are some of the photographs I took while we were in Spain and Portugal!

Our journey started in Madrid, then Barcelona, after that we went to Seville 

and we ended our time in Spain in Granada. 

We were extra blessed to end our holiday in Portugal and have a couple of days of relaxation 

and enjoying their beautiful beaches!

My favorite location was Seville and if you ever get the opportunity to go there, do it!

My husband and I had the privilege of traveling to Spain and Portugal on holiday in May.

Andre and Marelie Engagement Shoot

This lovely couple has traveled all over the world together and for that very reason

we decided to use a travel theme for their engagement shoot. 

The pictures were taken at Hermanstad Train Station in Pretoria.

Andre and Marelie's most exciting journey yet is starting on the 

28 of September 2012 when they will be getting married in Cape Town.

Many years ago their was a family, the Oosthuizen family. 

Mr and Mrs Oosthuizen had 10 children and they were blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Because they were so many they decided to have a family weekend once a year

when the whole family will come together.

My grandfather, Piet Oosthuizen, was one of the 10 children

of this family that started this tradition long ago.

This past weekend our family had the previlage to organize and host the 

25th family weekend and what a blessing it was! 

We look forward to seeing everybody again next year!
